1st Floor Surface Care repaired and refinished our marble floors this spring. Our home was built in 2005 and we installed marble floors on about 2/3rds of the first floor. Upon completion of building our home, we leased our home for about 7 years. The lesser did nothing during this period of time to care for our floors, they looked horrendous.

Excellent company!!! Had new tile installed in our master bathroom by a superb contractor. We thought the tile would need to be taken out and replaced it was such a disaster. In a last-ditch effort, we called Scott. He and his team spent the better part of the day scrubbing, re-sealing the grout, and cleaning/repairing the tile. The floor is now perfect! Scott saved us thousands of dollars! Absolutely 100% professional and reasonably priced. There is no reason to call another surface care company in the Lowcountry. Thank you, Scott and team. Recently, Scott and team completed a major project for me. It involved patching, cleaning, polishing and sealing more than 3,000 square feet of travertine floors and cleaning and sealing seven stone countertops in bathrooms. Based on recommendations I had received, I had expected them to do a very good job. I must say that they greatly exceeded my expectations. They showed up each morning at the agreed-upon time, they worked hard all day, and they cleaned up each night before they left my house. The floors and countertops look terrific. Scott and his crew did a refurbishing of our travertine throughout our home last week. The results are AMAZING! It came out even better than we expected. The team was extremely professional and careful with everything as they moved items around. They also sealed our granite countertops in our kitchen. We are having them come back in about a month to do some sealing work in our bathroom. We highly recommend them! Wish we had known about them we when bought our home 6 years ago.

We have a four-year-old home in Riverbend that we purchased last summer. The floors are travertine throughout the main living areas and baths. Our kitchen had large blotchy discoloration areas due to the previous owners' damage. Not sure what they did to it. We had three different professionals from the area visit for a consultation on how to correct the problem.
When I asked the first company to give me a referral to other contractors they suggested Scott. What a compliment from a competitor! Out of the three contractors Scott was worth every dollar paid, but that was not my purpose. I wanted my floors to look like new. The other contractors were not sure if that was possible. However, Scott knew what had caused the problem as soon as he looked at it and guaranteed me that he could make me happy with his results. That was a long explanation but one I feel says it all.
